RAF Coningsby

I was very fortunate this month to be given the opportunity to photograph within the base at RAF Coningsby, allowing me to get an unhindered close up of view of the Typhoons, during both departure and return from exercise.

Not sure what the pilots must have thought, as they spotted this lone photographer crouching alongside the runway whilst they taxied back to the hangers, but they were all kind enough to give me a friendly wave!
