Emma and Sam’s Charity Head Shave

These two amazing ladies, Emma and Sam, had their heads shaved to raise money for charity at the Butchers Hook pub in Thornbury, Bristol in August 2024.

Emma is my stepdaughter, and her mum Fiona thought it would be a great idea to surprise Emma by travelling down to Bristol from our home in Lincolnshire, and turning up unannounced to support her in this wonderful cause.

The head shave had come about as Emma and Sam wanted to show solidarity with Fiona as she begins her treatment for breast cancer.

That first black and white photograph is the tearful moment when Emma spotted her mum was there.

Emma and Sam are raising money for two charities, The Royal British Legion for whom they both work, and The Lewis Foundation who provide gift packs to cancer patients receiving treatment in hospital.

So far they have raised over £2,000 between them.
